Si vous travailler souvent avec des machines virtuelles (VPC), car elles sont bien pratiques lorsqu'on ne peux pas installer des produits Betas sur sa machine, pour se faire des environnements de tests, etc... vous serez intéressé par cette astuce.
Lorsque vous avez besoin d'accèder à un (ou des) fichiers qui sont dans la VPC, vous avez plusieurs possibilités, pas forcément géniale:
- Lancer la VPC et faire une copie des fichiers sur la machine hote
- Lancer une autre VPC, charger le disque dur virtuel (fichier VHD) de la machine virtuelle en disque dur secondaire, et y accéder, depuis l'explorateur Windows, comme si vous utilisiez un autre disque dur.
Cette dernière technique est très utile lorsque la VPC à laquelle vous voulez accédez ne démarre plus pour une raison ou une autre.
Mais il existe une dernière possibilité, qui s'avère plus pratique et surtout beaucoup plus rapide: utiliser le logiciel WinImage: http://www.winimage.com
En effet, grâce à ce logiciel, vous allez pouvoir charger la fichier VHD de votre VPC, le parcourir, récupérer des fichiers qui sont dedans, ajouter des fichiers au disque dur de la VPC, etc...
Bref, c'est vraiment le top du top !
Le logiciel vous propose même de choisir quelle partition vous voulez lire (si vous en avez plusieurs) au chargement du disque dur virtuel
Petit Bonus: Il existe même un SDK pour WinImage, qui vous permet de développer vos propres applications permettant de lire les fichiers images (ISO, VHD, etc...), d'y inclure des fichies, etc...

En téléchargeant le fichier approprié, vous pourrez vous en servir avec WSH (Windows Script Host), Rhino et même Konfabulator.
Supprimer un fichier tenace (XP)
N'avez vous jamais rencontré ce message lors d'une suppression d'un fichier : "Windows ne peut supprimer ce message car il est en cours d'execution..." alors que ça n'est pas le cas ?!
Voilà une solution simple pour remedier à ce fichier tenace.
Commencez par fermer toutes les fenêtres ouvertes, puis faites Démarrer/Executer et validez avec taskmgr.
Dans l'onglet processus, selectionnez explorer.exe puis cliquez sur Terminer le Processus. Laissez le Gestionnaire des tâches ouvert,Ouvrez une invite de commande,Démarrer/Executer puis tapez cmd. Placez vous dans le dossier du fichier tenace (cd nomdudossier...) et saisissez DEL nomdufichier.ext (ext étant son extension) et Valider.
Retournez alors dans le Gestionnaire des tâches, menu Fichier, Nouvelle tâche et saisissez explorer.exe et validez!
Bye Bye le fichier tenace !
Utiliser toute la bande passante (XP)
Par défaut, 20% de la bande passante de votre réseau local est réservée par le service QoS (Quality Of Service) de Windows XP.
Pour utiliser toute la bande passante, cliquez sur le bouton Démarrer puis sur Exécuter. Saisissez gpedit.msc puis validez par OK. Cliquez alors sur Modèles d'administration, Réseau, Planificateur de paquets QoS.
Double cliquez sur Limiter la bande passante réservable. Si l'option Non configuré ou Désactivé est sélectionnée, la valeur par défaut (20 %) est utilisée.
Cliquez sur l'option Activé puis saisissez 0 dans le champ Limite de bande passante. Validez par OK.

Pour utiliser ce script vous devez inclure le fichier context.js et copier la classe CSS menucontextuel. Vous pouvez personnaliser cette classe afin de modifier l'affichage mais il faut s'assurer que la propriété position soit absolute et que la propriété display soit none :

Se débarasser des caractères UTF-8 invalides
Les caractères UTF-8 invalides sont une source importante de désagrément : les RSS s'affichent mal, et les pirates en profitent pour passer de nombreux caractères indésirables au nez et à la barbe des regex. Pour s'en sortir, voici un truc avec iconv, qui supprime les caractères mal codés.
